There is a subtle bio - energ y that
f lows through all organic life.
It goes by many names and is
sometimes referred to as Chi or life
force. This energy is expressed as an
electromag netic v ibrational frequency.
We talk about it in everyday conversational
terms probably without even realising it. We
“get a vibe” about something. When we feel
unwell or melancholy we “feel low” or “ just
don’t have the energy” and when we’re on top
of our game we’re “energised”.
We intuitively know that when things
are going “right” we can expect that
more things will go “right.” Just as we
know to expect more trouble when we’re
experiencing a down or negative state.
What we’re talking about is v ibrational
frequency, and we’re going to be hearing a
lot more about it.
Pure essential oils have the highest
frequencies of any measured natural
substance, the essence of rose being the
highest, and have the capacity to raise the
frequency of our own bodies and minds
(as explained in Heaven Scent on the
prev ious pages).
This is the essence (if you’ll pardon
the pun) of aromatherapy in its truest
form, which is essentially (ditto) olfactor y
medicine. It’s not an indulgent, fluffy
treatment or product that smells good; it
has the power to heal, nourish and uplift
(but still smells good, ver y good!).
“Aromatherapy unfortunately has
become dumbed down over the last 30
years, since it became `popular’ and
products mass manufactured with synthetic
ingredients, or inferior natural ingredients,
that do not remotely resemble pure
essential oils or possess their powerful
properties,” says the aptly named Dee
(Deirdre) Light, co -founder of Manifesto of
Light with husband Clive Newland.
“It is vital to remember that vibrational
frequency-raising capabilities apply only to
therapeutic grade essential oils.
“Our bodies are made of star dust, the
stuff of the Universe: minerals, carbon,
water, oxygen, and salt from the oceans. We
are plant-like, born of trillions of atoms,
inseparable from nature itself.
“Our bodies are the technology we
have long been looking for. Listen to their
murmurings and we stir something greater.
“At Manifesto of Light, we revere nature
and honour the highest aromatic frequencies
of the plant world, bringing them to a select
clientele whose bodies seek truth.
“ We hand blend extraordinary ultra
natural perfumes, high frequency skincare
and transformative air blends that
recalibrate our bodies and light us up from
the inside out.”
Only a couple of years ago this may have
sounded rather whacky and airy fairy (indeed
it probably still does to some) but Dee says a
new age is distinctly dawning where people are
embracing these once “far out, Man” ideas.
“For instance, people are now ready to
hear about frequency,” Dee says. ” We don’t
have to couch it in cutesy terms anymore. In
fact, people are actively seeking out these
sorts of concepts in quest of what is lacking
in their bodies, minds and lives.”
Dee, a former marketing executive, and
Clive, a bodywork expert and ultra natural
perfumer, have collaborated since 1989, in
life and on Manifesto of Light essential oils
It’s only now the couple says it is the right
time to take their vision to a much bigger
stage, as people are ready to see it.
After talking to Dee and Clive for several
hours, I could write volumes about this
vision and their goals, but clearly space is
I would urge you to read more
about them, their work and products at
as it is absolutely enthralling. But to give
you an overview ...
Dee and Clive are starting The Gorgeous
Revolution, to encourage people to love and
believe in who they are, as they are.
The “revolution” w ill have three stages,
the first of which is raising awareness of the
beauty and profound therapeutic and skin
benefits of their hero products, The Rose
Serum and The Rose Cream.
“When you make the finest oil in
the world from roses from Bulgaria
and Turkey as the cornerstone of your
skincare, it makes ever ything else
impeccably simple,” says Clive.
“Rose oil of this quality speaks to the
body, creating an oxygen-rich bloom that
elevates the psyche and opens the heart.
“On average it takes more than 3,500 kg
of petals to distill just one litre of rose oil, and
a champion rose picker five hours to amass
enough roses to extract a mere few drops.”
Stay tuned for our next issue (and
keep visiting us at SPACLINIC.COM.AU
of course in the meantime!) for the next
stages of The G orgeous Revolution.
