Some of Australia’s leading lights of the aesthetics
industry chalk up major milestones in 2015.
10 YEARS IN AUSTRALIA
IN THE EARLY 2000s I worked as a therapist
with Eminence in a spa in Canada and was
immediately taken with the philosophy of
using fruit and vegetables as key ingredients.
I thought it was a perfect match for Australia
and our clean, green way of life and came
home to become the distributor of this
beautiful Hungarian brand 10 years ago.
We were the ver y delighted recipients of
a Supplier of Choice Award in the 2013
ASPA Awards of Excellence. This is an
achievement we are particularly proud of.
From the science behind effective ingredient
combinations, ethical practices, keeping
on top of global trends, constantly striving
for a softer environmental footprint and all
the marketing to communicate the brand
message ... the job is endless but Eminence
has nailed it.
Tamara Eacott, director, Green Living Cosmetics.
ELEMIS, 25 YEARS
We now live in a results-driven market;
it is an added bonus if a client can also
come away relaxed. This expectation is
the driving force behind our product and
treatment design. I’ve always believed that
one of the best anti-ageing approaches
to skin is the power of hands-on therapy
combined with great actives to deliver
immediate, visible results. A great pair
of hands supported with great product
knowledge has the ability to meet and
exceed the clients’ needs.
Noella Gabriel, Director of Product and
Treatment Development, Elemis.
ASSOCIATES, 30 YEARS
Founded by internationally acclaimed
aromatherapy expert Geraldine Howard
and Sue Beechey, the key ethos of
Aromatherapy Associates has always been
the healing properties of plant extracts and
the true powers of essential oils on physical,
mental and emotional wellbeing. The 30th
celebrations were first marked in January
with the launch of the luxurious Limited
Edition Renew Rose Velvet Body Cream.
“I am thrilled to be marking 30 years of
Aromatherapy Associates and remain
delighted and proud of the continued
successes we achieveAromatherapy is such
a passion that it was always my mission to
help to tell the world what a difference
essential oils can make to day to day life.”
Geraldine Howard, co -founder, Aromatherapy
BIO SCULPTURE, 20 YEARS
At Bio Sculpture, we have always
positioned ourselves as a healthier
alternative to professional nail care, so
it seems as though the industry is finally
catching up with what we have been trying
to achieve for the past 20 years! Being the
only nail care company to hold a 5 Star
Safety Rating for its core gel product has
reaffirmed our position as the preferred
prov ider of healthy nail care.
As the internet’s influence has grown,
the diffusion of social information
has become fast and global, triggering
Australian consumer demands for colours
that were showcased on international
catwalks in Paris only days before.
Fortunately, as a global brand, we have the
ability to timely meet our customers needs
for “fast fashion” on-trend colours.

More than anything, celebrating our
five-year anniversar y in October is a
confidence-builder for O Cosmedics,

who are committed to promoting great

Developed in the US in 2001 and
introduced to Australia in 2005, Fraxel is
the original fractional resurfacing laser
and has revolutionsed anti-ageing and
corrective skincare. Rather than treating
skin superficially, we are now able to treat
the skin from within. Future ingredients
