"After becoming a franchisee they would
handle the day to day responsibility. This
would include all aspects such as HR, sales,
training, customer experience, finances and
driving overall clinic performance.
"LCA has a set protocol that they work
towards. For each clinic, we work on
similar fit-out and design to keep our
brand consistent, offer the same treatments
and ser vices and then clinics become part
of our national marketing campaign.
"The clinic and its staff would operate
within LCA's operations manual. There is
flexibility in relation to items specific to the
clinic -- for instance, how it manages local
area marketing to drive performance."
Michelle believes there are five key benefits
to becoming a business owner with LCA:
• The booming aesthetics industry
(discretionary spend on cosmetic
treatments continues to rise with the sales
of injectables alone predicted to reach $1
billion in Australia by the end of this year)
• Award-winning growth
• Refined business mode. "Our partnership
model aligns us with our franchisees, and
substantially reduces start up costs," she
says. "The active franchise partner is also
rewarded with an attractive remuneration
package of $100,000 from Day One."
• A comprehensive training program,
ongoing operational support and a full
suite of cloud-based business management
tools that assist with the growth and
success of clinics.
"LCA offers every franchisee investor
a unique business opportunity. Each
location that opens is a 50/50 partnership.
Becoming an LCA franchisee means you
become part of a larger team. This is not
only through head office support but other
franchisees to network with."
THE LASER LOUNGE
Established in 2008 and built from the
ground up by sisters Bita Beyzaee and Gita
Coorey, The Laser Lounge came to fruition
with a vision of a paramedical aesthetics
brand based on principles of honesty, high
quality, friendly client ser vice and comfort.
Today, it has 10 boutique clinics across
Australia, with more opening soon.
In 2012, The Laser Lounge also launched
an accredited dermal therapy and cosmetic
injectable training academy, in partnership
with the highly regarded Australasian
Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.
"To date, we have medically- super vised,
hands-on practical training for cosmetic
doctors, nurses and aesthetics therapists
Australia-wide," says Bita.
"Our clinics use the most advanced
technologies available, achieved by closely
partnering with some of the industry's
leading machine suppliers.
"Staff are our foundation, so at The
Laser Lounge we take pride in employing
the finest skin and laser technicians, nurses
and doctors available, who have a genuine
passion for achieving results.
"Recently we partnered with the best in
reconstructive and plastic surgery, Dr Alex
Phoon and Dr Pouria Moradi, from Sydney's
Park Clinic, to offer our clients outstanding
results in all things surgical.
"We have also opened a Laser Lounge
within their practice so the doctors are able
to offer their patients a holistic program for
"Our ser vices can assist the surgeons
in preparing their patients' skin before
surgery and aid post-surgery to speed up
the healing process.
"Great surgery combined with
compatible dermal treatments ensure a
speedy recovery and wonderful results."
Bita says The Laser Lounge's ser vices
have expanded tremendously since launch.
"We treat all major skin, cosmetic and
hair concerns with premium technology
and cosmeceuticals [including LED
and IPL skin rejuvenation, non-ablative
fractional laser, clinical skin needling and
microdermabrasion, corrective skin peels,
cosmetic tattooing, DMK skin corrective
treatments, laser fat and cellulite reduction,
dermal fillers and PRP, and laser hair
removal," she explains.
"On top of this we continually invest time
and effort in our company education to
ensure we keep up with the latest techniques."
Bita says The Laser Lounge seeks
partners with genuine passion for the
paramedical aesthetics industry and who
are committed to client ser vice.
"Our clinic owners vary, some being
amazing dermal therapists while others are
great at business management and client
ser vice," she says.
"A Laser Lounge franchisee retains
100 percent ownership of their business.
Our management and head office team
provides endless support when it comes to
clinical training, business planning, sales,
marketing, recruitment, performance
management and IT systems.
"This allows the business to focus on
their clients at a local level. We are very
selective who we partner with. We work best
with team players and business owners who
value our level of expertise, and who will
follow our proven systems to achieve success.
"The Laser Lounge clinics generally
have a similar look and feel and all team
members are friendly and accommodating.
"There are certain treatments that are
core to our menu of ser vices. However, our
management team continually analyses
each location to ensure the technology and
ser vices we offer accommodate the local
