Two, they are not educated
enough on their foundation
choices and how to use them
properly so a BB or CC cream
seems easier and safer to them.
I think the trend will go on
but with social media makeup
becoming a way of women
learning about makeup, some
woman are wanting to try more
fuller coverage foundations. I
know when I go to makeup trade
shows and show women how to mix
our liquid and loose foundations
for a ver y full coverage liquid, they
go crazy over it.

• New Youngblood Illuminate
Palette will be great for the
highlighting or strobing trend.
It follows the success of our
contour palette. Its six creamy
highlighters can be used to give the skin
that California glow.
• Youngblood Loose Mineral Foundation.
Hav ing the ability to go from a sheer to
a full coverage while feeling like there is
nothing on your skin, it’s just the best.
MAKEUP ARTIST KOLORZ &
KLAWZ, FOR BODYOGRAPHY
It’s all about skin, skin, skin; glowing sun-
kissed skin, with subtle highlights.
Simple eye looks, with a fierce flick of liner,
and matte lips are so on-trend, particularly is
classic red. Think 1950s with a 2016 strobe.
My go-to red lip is Bodyography Red
China for a classic blue-based red. For a
matte look, try Bodyography Icon Dual
Lip Gloss in Scarlett, without the gloss
topcoat - extreme pigment- drenched
In terms of trends, Gigi Hadid can do no
wrong at the moment. Her latest makeup
looks have been divine, and with her
incredible skin she gets that glow right ever y
time. The K ardashians as always lead the
way and have mastered the contoured look
like no other on the planet
There are two types of makeup users:
those that love the sheer look a tinted
moisturiser gives, and those that love full
coverage, contour, highlighting, strobing
... the works. Bodyography caters for
ever yone. Both types of coverage will
always have a place in the makeup world.
And of course testing on animals is NOT
COOL, something that is ver y important
to the consumer. Makeup lines that don’t
change will get left behind. My clients and I
love that Bodyography is 100 percent vegan.
Hero Products :
• Sunsculpt Bronzer and Highlighter. I use
it to contour, highlight and give the most
amazing sun-kissed look. It can also create
a fabulous smokey eye.
• Veil Foundation Primer is
the perfect base. Foundation
glides over it, leaving an
incredibly smooth finish
that holds makeup on and
comes in various colours
so I can customise bases for
my client s.
• The lipstick range. So
creamy and completely
drenched in colour
pigment to ensure lasting
colour for hours. Choosing
which one is the hard part!

what our research has told us.
In her words: “Makeup
trends are being driven to work
w ith expression, hence the
concentration on a flawless,
radiant base with winged eyes and
strong brows. A pop of colour – like
red lips - comes into play. Think

Ava Gardner and Audrey Hepburn.
Contouring will continue to be
strong, with concentration on
no doubt that

few years, with their focus
on nude lips, long lashes,
bold brows and, of course,
the cheek contour.
demanding more from
their makeup – it has
to be more than just a
cover. BB and CC creams
have joined this trend
but I believe they will be
surpassed by the re-engineered
science of the makeup houses.
Foundation bases are being
reconsidered and reinvigorated
toward makeup being a protection
to treat and condition the skin –
more like “skin food” - not merely
as a cover. The ingredients-savvy
consumer is seeking makeup bases that
deliver second skin with purity at their core.
